The Technology Business Plan as the Company's Meta-Plan
Technology companies need to develop an overall approach to how the development of products fit within the corporation's accountability process. Having a standard, or at least a template, technology product business plan in one way provides visibility into the business case for a product and identifies the process measures of success. Figure C-1 shows a notional complete life cycle for a successful technology product. A technology business plan covers this entire life cycle.
