I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Preface to the second edition
Ten years have elapsed since the first edition of this Dictionary. The vocabulary of economics in the broadest sense has considerably grown. Many neologisms have sprung from continued changes in national economies, not least the innovations in financial markets and growing concerns about the environment. Institutional changes, for example, the coming of the World Trade Organization, and new interests in economic thought, not least through the further awards of Nobel Prizes for Economics, have inspired new entries. Inevitably some terms in the first edition have not been as durable as others and recommended reading needed revision.
