Logging In
For users to connect, they just point their browser to the HTTPS URL, which includes the IP address (or Domain Name System [DNS] resolvable name) and the SSL_VPN portion (based on our configuration). They are prompted for their username and password, and if successful, they are authenticated and provided the bookmarks you configured for that group. Those bookmarks could include not only HTTPS resources but also servers that are reachable via the Common Internet File System (CIFS) method. Users, in addition to the links provided by you, the administrator, could manually specify resources that they want to reach that are on the corporate networks behind the ASA.
