I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

• CPU issues read and is forced to retry. Allocate RAC entry and send
read request (1) to home.
• Home forwards request to dirty cluster (2).
• Dirty cache write-back data to home (3) before read request is received.
• Dirty cluster receives read request, issues on bus and then responds
with a NAK (4) to requesting cluster since no dirty copy is found.
• CPU will retry request and will receive clean data from home if its
request reaches the home after the write-back. Otherwise, it will get
forwarded and be NAK'd again.
A NAK would also be sent from the dirty cluster if it had not done a write-
back, but had invalidate ...
