So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

We read a message from the topic and wrote it to an SQS queue. We can also configure an SQS queue with an SNS topic. One pattern that uses this combination is usually referred to as the fanout pattern. SNS can fanout messages to various SQS queues for various reasons, including parallel processing.
