There is a lot of information in the man and info pages for all of the software discussed in this book, particularly the bash man page and reference guide, and the info pages for the coreutils package. However, these are all incredibly densely packed documents, accurate but not particularly welcoming to the newcomer.

There are many tutorials and other, more verbose explanatory documents that are a much better way of getting into most of these topics. The lists which follow are some of those that I have found to be useful for my own uses, or to point people to for further information on a specific topic.
