The Production Process: Preproduction
You can easily understand the organization of the production process by its three steps: preproduction, production, and postproduction. Each step involves specific functions and operations that are interdependent and critical to the final production. Before either the production or the postproduction tasks can be accomplished, preproduction must take place, and the foundation of any media project lies in the time and effort spent during preproduction.
