In Chapter 3, “Building the Service Factory,” and Chapter 4, “Governing the Service Factory,” we discussed the concept of setting up a production line for manufacturing and operating services. In Chapter 5, “Governing the Service Factory,” we described the plan, define, enable, and measure flow to governance. This chapter adds additional detail on management of the services and automated processes as they progress along this production line.
