When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Cluster master
On the cluster master, add the following to server.conf:
Under the [general] stanza:
- Identify the site the cluster master is in with an entry: site = site1
Under the [clustering] stanza:
- Enable the cluster for multisite with an entry: multisite = true
- Set the number of sites for the cluster: available_sites = site1,site2
- Set the multisite replication factor :site_replication_factor = origin:2,total:3
- Set the multisite search factor: site_search_factor = origin:1,total:2
For the site replication and search factors, the origin is the site where the data first entered the cluster; the number associated with the origin is how many copies of each bucket are to be kept on that site, and the total is the total number of copies ...
