This book uses the following typographical conventions:
Constant widthUsed to indicate programming syntax, code fragments, and examples.
Constant width italicUsed to indicate variables in code that should be replaced with user-supplied values.
Constant width boldUsed in code sections to highlight portions of the code.
Used to introduce new terms, for emphasis, to indicate commands or user-specified file and directory names, and to indicate variables within text.
Used to display the names of database objects, such as tables, columns, and stored procedures.
Used to indicate SQL keywords when they appear in the text.
Indicates a tip, suggestion, or general note.
Indicates a warning or caution.
