So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter TenPrior to Tech
Prior to technical rehearsals you will need to update several pieces of paperwork that you created during prep week and partially filled in throughout rehearsals. During load-in you should familiarize yourself with the venue and prepare the space for the cast. This is also when you will start adding cues to your calling script.
Pre-Show Checklist
During performances, the stage manager will have a number of tasks to accomplish from the time they arrive until they settle in to call the first cue of the show.
