About the Author
Joseph Schmuller, PhD, is a veteran of academia and corporate information technology. His books on computing include the three editions of Teach Yourself UML in 24 Hours (SAMS), the five editions of Statistical Analysis with Excel For Dummies, and R All-in-One For Dummies (Wiley). His books have been translated into ten languages, and his LinkedIn Learning courses have been taken by more than 100,000 learners worldwide.
Joseph is a former member of the American Statistical Association, and he has taught statistics at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He holds a BS from Brooklyn College, an MA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a PhD from the University of Wisconsin, all in psychology. He and his family live in Jacksonville, Florida, where he works on the AI Automation Development Team at Availity.
