OBJECTIVES
This chapter covers the following Sun-specified objectives for the “Design Patterns” section of the “Sun Certified Web Component Developer For J2EE Platform” exam:
13.1 Given a scenario description with a list of issues, select the design pattern (Value Object, MVC, Data Access Object, or Business Delegate) that would best solve those issues.
This objective wants you to understand how to apply patterns to problems. You are given a description of a problem and then asked to choose the pattern that would best solve that problem. For example, if told that you need to build an object to manage database queries, you would select the Data Access Object pattern.
