So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
03 Intelligent Supply Chain Network Design: Integrating People, Environment, and Economy
Chapter 2 explained SCND principles and how operations research helped optimize them, primarily based on efficiency and cost minimization. We also saw how SCND was applied to improve resiliency, and emerging factors after COVID-19 include sustainability, AI and ML, and best practices and KPIs used to measure their impact.
This chapter expands on the concepts introduced in Chapter 2. Also, it explores the paradigm shift required in supply chain management, considering social, environmental, and economic impacts for a more holistic and responsible approach.
