We will denote the set of locations of future LIB plants in the U.S. by Plants,
Plants = {MI, OH, TN1, TN2, GA, KY},
where MI denotes the plant in Holland, OH the plant in Lordstown, TN1 the plant in Spring Hill, TN2 the plant in Stanton, GA the plant in Commerce, and KY the plant in Glendale, as illustrated in Table 10.4. In Table 11.1, we introduce relevant parameters and variables. We use the notation from Table 11.1 to develop the profit function and constraints for our model. In profit calculation, we consider logistics cost, manufacturing profit, and environmental impact cost.
