In order to calculate an integral score for sustainable banking, it must first be decided which elements from Chapters 5–8 will be taken into account. Five groups have been chosen: communication, generic published data, financing, special products and social issues. In each group a maximum of 20 points can be awarded, so that in total a bank can accrue a maximum of 100 points. The points are allocated bearing in mind both current and future benefit to the environment. In addition, a key (in percentages) is established per group.
