So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

6.3.5 Sliding window of unload and load
The sliding window of unload and load process is best suited to optimize the time
window that is available to move the data from Sybase to DB2. For example, if it
takes 13 hours to move data from 12,345 Sybase tables to DB2 but the time
available to do the complete migration is only eight hours, using the sliding
window to unload and load can reduce the time window.
However, compressing that 13 hours window to an eight hour window depends
upon the resources (CPU, memory, disks and network) that are available on both
Sybase and DB2 servers.
