In this chapter, we’ll examine how to create client-server applications. To design a client-server application, we have to design both the client and the server and make sure that they work together.
A client-server application consists of two types of processes:
A server process, which receives requests from other processes to provide some type of service. It performs the specific service and sends back a response to the other process.
