Chapter . Install iWeb
To install iLife ’06, your Mac must meet or exceed the following minimum requirements:
A Macintosh computer with a PowerPC G4, G5, Intel Core Solo or Intel Core Duo processor, and at least 256 MB of memory (512 MB or higher is recommended). iWeb is a Universal application (so it runs on PowerPC- and Intel-based Macs), and it operates much faster on the Intel-based machines.
DVD drive (SuperDrive or Combo Drive).
At least 10 GB of available disk space if you want to install all of the iLife ’06 software.
Mac OS X Panther 10.3.9 or Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.3 or later.
Tiger 10.4.4 or later is required for recording from iChat AV in GarageBand (useful when recording podcasts), iPhoto photocasts, and iMovie HD themes.
iTunes 6.0.2 or later ...
