Television, What’s in a Name?

In the early1920s it was called visual listening, audiovision, telectroscopy, telephonoscope, raduo, electric vision, and radiovision. Finally, television seemed to be the name everyone accepted. The name television comes from “tele” (far off) and “vision” (to see).
