Temporal Pattern Discovery

Temporal pattern discovery deals with the discovery of temporal patterns

of interest in time series or temporal sequences, where the interest is deter-

mined by the domain and the application. Below are some examples of

temporal patterns of interest:

Customers who buy laptops on a computer company’s site in a trans-•

action, frequently buy printers from the same site on a later transac-
