A System for Evaluating Sound |
The many different positions of the audio industry and their unique needs for sound evaluation point to a need for a sound evaluation system that can be readily transferred to a variety of contexts. It must easily yield meaningful and significant information to people of diverse backgrounds and job functions. The method must transfer between musical contexts and abstract, critical listening applications.
The aspects of sound evaluated by people in audio cannot be described using our current vocabulary. No way to talk about sound is available.
