It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

What You’ll Learn
I wanted to create an image that incorporates the spontaneous marks and tones of a Conté drawing with the textures and feel of an old daguerreotype photograph. I took my source image with an iPhone 3GS. I really love the graininess (and relatively low resolution) that it gives this kind of work.
