It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Why It’s Influential: In the movie, Wall Street financier Gordon Gekko (played by Michael Douglas) utters the phrase “Greed, for lack of a better word, is good” when addressing a stockholders meeting of Teldar Paper. At the time, the line shocked audiences, most of whom had never heard an argument in support of that particular vice.
