YOU’RE READING the wrong book if you have this attitude: “I don’t want to be the first of anything new. I’ll get all the sh**.”
To differentiate yourself, be the one to initiate, not the one who waits. You cannot hesitate, waiting until you feel fully confident. You have to act on things now. You can’t hold back on having an amiable temperament until the stars align and everything is all of a sudden going your way—it will never happen.
