I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The four sections in this chapter reflect decisions made to include these topics in the CMI CMBoK. None of these topics is the particular responsibility of a change manager (more than any other manager), and no specialist knowledge is expected. However, a ʻblind spotʼ regarding any of them, and failure to seek appropriate specialist support at the right time, could derail a change initiative. The authors who have contributed to this chapter are specialists in their own fields. They have been asked to offer here a brief introduction to their subjects.
