It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

During my 40 years in the healthcare industry, I’ve enjoyed meeting a cross section of the world’s healthcare thought leaders. While some have been well-known media and industry personalities, others have been quiet, unassuming people dedicated to making a difference, one patient at a time.
Perhaps the most profound connection I ever made was with Dr. Manly Michaelson. He was not a Nobel Prize laureate, world-renowned surgeon, or even academic royalty. To me, he was much more impressive than all of those: Dr. Michaelson was an old-fashioned family doctor.
