It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

I spent the first eight years of my career as an operations manager in movie theaters and theme parks. When you were out having fun with your friends and family, my frontline teams and I were serving you popcorn and loading you onto your favorite rides.
My first L&D role was as a project consultant and classroom facilitator at the Walt Disney World Resort. I had always loved Disney growing up, and all my childhood vacations took place in Orlando, Florida.
