In 2005, McGraw-Hill gave me the opportunity to write and publish the first edition of this book, a privilege for which I will always be grateful.
The book was published shortly after the launch of my first product—the TP Saver, which prevents children and pets from unrolling the toilet paper—and my business, Mom Inventors, Inc., was born. Shortly after the launch, my little gadget was featured on the Today show with Katie Couric. I never could have imagined the whirlwind of media activity that would follow and that still continues today—a decade later.
