To start this journey together we need to define a shared language and co-create a more detailed picture of the end goal. For example, what would the Next Economy look like? How would you know you have achieved it? This section also explores the transition frameworks and how society gets from here to there.

What Is the Economy?

When imagining what constitutes “the economy,” you might envision things like money, corporations, contracts, the stock market, banks, workers, and international trade. This is not the whole story.
