So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

WINDOWS 95 WAS perhaps the most heavily anticipated software of its era. At the Windows 95 tenth anniversary party, I happened to run into one of the lead marketing people for Windows 95, and we got to reminiscing about people lining up for hours at software stores to buy their copy at the stroke of midnight. Having Jay Leno (an actual celebrity!) host the launch event turned operating systems from boring software that only geeks understood to something with mass appeal (that only geeks understood).
