I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Let's begin by defining what mental health means and why it is important to prioritize. According to the World Health Organization, mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well‐being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices.1
Talking about the importance and benefits of mental health is critical for all people, but especially so for the Asian community. Culturally, Asian Americans frown on the idea of mental health or even making time for yourself. We are taught to take care of our elders, siblings, and everyone around us. This chapter will share the powerful and positive impacts of how prioritizing your mental health will change your life, enabling you to become more mindful in your everyday life, personally and professionally. Leveling up your mental health will not only help you become more visible, it will also allow you to live your life in a holistic and healthier way.
