In a typical communication scenario, two parties (the sender Alice and the receiver Bob) aim to exchange (classical or quantum) information through a communication channel. However, the biggest hurdle in the path of efficient information transmission is the presence of noise in the communication channel. Noise distorts the information sent through the channel and the receiver often does not receive the original information that is intended.
