Final Thoughts
I sincerely hope that you have enjoyed this book. I understand that for some of you the more technical chapters may have been tricky to wrap your head around. For those of you who are more experienced, much of the content would likely have been just good reminders. Whatever your skill level when you started Chapter 1, I hope that you have benefited in some way from the content. Maybe one or two of you have read this book and think you can do better, or feel that more time should have been spent on subjects such as contracts or DeFi. If you feel that way, I urge you to pull out your laptop and start writing; our community desperately needs dissemination of knowledge to be able to stop criminals in their tracks. I always enjoy the books written about certain frauds or successful hunts for cyber criminals, but we need more books to teach us how to investigate these crimes. If you are able, write one!
I’m proud of this book. I’ve done my best—especially writing through difficult times such as the loss of my father—but I am not so deluded as to think that someone out there couldn’t do a better job of it.
