Ann loved her job. She worked at a large bank as a philanthropic adviser to high-net-worth individuals, and her job demanded she stay sharp at finance, philanthropy, and cultivating strong relationships. Her clients were typically at the end of their careers and came to Ann with two goals: help me protect my money for later generations and help me do good for the world today. The job appealed to Ann's zeal for solving financial puzzles and to her desire to leave the world a better place than she found it. Her previous jobs had either been in the nonprofit sector or solely focused on financial services, so she felt fortunate that she had a job that let her blend two things she loved.
