I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 3: Get ready for action
In this chapter, you will learn that:
• Getting the most out of our personal energy levels is an essential skill.
• When we are stressed we naturally take faster, shallower breaths to prepare us for action. This can lead to snap trading decisions that are ineffective and not based on cool logic.
• Breathing deeply and fully, and utilising your diaphragm is a way to dissipate stress and help you stay on top of the game.
• Separating your breath into three distinct sections can act as a pressure circuit breaker during times of stress — so practise breathing into your stomach, your lower chest and then your upper chest.
