So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

I could not write this book without chapters outlining what trend following acceptance is up against. In the world of financial media—it is a full court press for your attention (read: your dollars). Yet it always strikes me very odd to see people worshipping random financial dogma or slick talking market gurus. Thinking about that brought back a memory from the now classic animated TV series King of the Hill, especially since I know of names in the financial world just like this story (drugs and all).
