When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
About the Authors
Jonathan is a design leader who is passionate about doing right by others and using design as a tool to improve the world we live in. With over a decade of experience from startups to large companies, Jonathan leverages his unique background to promote ethical design everywhere he goes. He loves to learn and share it through: writing, speaking internationally, co-hosting the Design Review Podcast, and on Twitter as @DesignUXUI. He is currently Sr. Interaction Designer at Intuit in Mountain View, CA where he lives with wife.
Passionate about human beings and their means of communication, Cynthia has always sought a deeper understanding of how people think, interact, connect. Communication has thus been a key ingredient in her technological endeavours. A Université de Montréal graduate in industrial design, she is now Director of Design at Shopify. On top of her daytime job, Cynthia mentors startups and is regularly invited to speak at events around the world, where her playful approach both startles and charms. In her conferences, she shares her passion and her point of view: user-centered design is a reality, not a utopian methodology.
