I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Puppet Server
PuppetDB was widely adopted by Puppet installations. The success of PuppetDB led Puppet Labs to use the same architecture to improve the performance of the puppet master. A new Clojure-based framework called TrapperKeeper was developed. TrapperKeeper presents different services. For the Puppet master service, TrapperKeeper runs a JRuby process within a Java Virtual Machine (JVM). This stack of components, with Clojure, JRuby, and Jetty, is also used by the new ENC solution of Puppet Labs, Puppet Node Manager.
