Now you are ready to begin. Although it is possible to develop for Android without using Eclipse, the recommended method is to use it. That is what we will use for this brief introduction. This “Hello World” example assumes you have correctly installed and configured the ADT plug-in.
1. Open Eclipse and select File, New, Project.
2. Select Android Project. Click Next.
3. Fill in the project details:
Project name: HelloUbuntuWorld—This is the Eclipse project name and the name of the directory that will store the project files.
