I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Butte, Montana:Lange nachdem der Boom abgeebbt war
Eines Nachmittags sah ich in Butte in Montana einen kleinen Jungen aus dem Fenster eines Hauses schauen, das vor lauter alten Zechen und zerfallenden Wohnhäusern stand. Die Szene schien mir symbolhaft für die Geschichte des Gesteinsabbaus, sodass ich ein paar Aufnahmen machte und dann weiterlief.
Je mehr ich darüber nachdachte, desto klarer wurde mir, dass Butte ein gutes Beispiel dafür war, warum wir die Wirtschaft auf nachhaltige Entwicklung auslegen müssen.
