I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Die Arbeit an der 1992er-Spezialausgabe von National Geographic über das Wasser war eine bewusstseinserweiternde Erfahrung. Für mich war es das erste Mal, dass ich über ein großes, wichtiges Umweltthema berichtet habe. Ich bemerkte jedoch bald, dass die Wasserprobleme Nordamerikas nur ein kleiner Teil der Geschichte waren. Es gibt zwar hierzulande Probleme mit der Wasserversorgung und -verschmutzung, doch sind sie vergleichsweise klein im Vergleich mit den größeren Sorgen in anderen Teilen der Welt.
