I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
3. Getting Around WordPress
This chapter will make you familiar with all the menus and options in WordPress. The settings for the options will be covered in Chapter 4.
Now that you have WordPress installed and running on your server, it’s time to take a short tour around the Administration area so that you can become familiar with where all the settings and goodies are hiding. I’ll get into the actual settings in Chapter 4, “Configuring WordPress to Work Its Best,” but in this chapter, we’re going to look at not only where things are, but also how to customize the Admin area to your liking.
