Appendix B. Recommended Reading and Assumed Platform Knowledge
The VCAP5-DCD blueprint assumes general datacenter knowledge that may be combined with VMware technology in exam questions. If you are a working IT professional with a few years’ experience in datacenters and associated installations, this should not be a daunting exam; however, if you are a VMware specialist who rarely ventures outside anything that doesn’t begin with a lowercase v, I advise that you spend some time reviewing the basics.
