Chapter 1
Assumption A project item that, from the design perspective, is taken to be true without any evidence that it is.
Constraint An item or a situation that can limit a design choice.
Requirement An item that is to be specifically delivered at the end of a project.
Risk An item or a situation that could prevent a project from being completed and the vision from being achieved.
Vision The reason or purpose of starting a project. It is the endpoint or what is required to be created at the end of the project.

Current state analysis A review of a platform or the items in scope at the beginning of a project, used to establish the starting point of the project environment.
