I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 5. Steampunk: A Dinner in Three Courses
James and Brian dive headfirst into steampunk. To get a better grasp on the culture, the boys collect a group of steampunks, makers and hackers to get together and have a spirited dinner. Each course has a different topic of discussion. When the wine starts flowing, not everyone agrees, but the conversation is fascinating. To capture it all the boys call independent film producer and documentarian Byrd McDonald. He brings his crew to Seattle and at the end of the dinner they become a part of the Vintage Tomorrows family!
Ultimately they are all looking to understand: What is steampunk? What can steampunk teach us about the future?
