BENEDETTA BONICHI
Benedetta Bonichi was born in 1968, and has been exhibiting widely since 2002. Working with radiography and photography, she makes digital composites, video and sculpture. Her images strip her subjects down to their essence, creating powerful vanitas pieces that point up the futility of narcissism. Her work has appeared in art journals and scientific and academic magazines, and is in the permanent collections of museums from Rome to São Paulo.
