There are many aspects of managing ESX and ESXi clusters. The key, however, is to first understand how to configure a single ESX host and from there branch out to multiple machines. Given that you can manage a host using the vSphere Client, PowerCLI, VMware Management Appliance (vMA), VMware PERL SDK, and so on, where do you start with ESX management? Should we dive directly into everyday management tasks? All our elders state to start at the beginning, so that is what we will do.
