I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
The following procedure will help you to create DRS groups, which is a prerequisite for creating VM to Host affinity rules:
- Connect to vCenter Server using the HTML5 client.
- Select the DRS cluster, navigate to Configure | Configuration | VM/Host Groups and click Add...:
- On the Create VM/Host Group window, supply a name for the group, set the Type to VM Group, and click Add... to add the desired VMs to the group. Once you're done, click OK:
