3. WordPress Template Hierarchy

Your WordPress site can have a very simple and straightforward design with basically the same structure, functions, and presentation on every page. Alternatively, you could use template files to create very different experiences on every page. I aim for a seamless visual experience and harness template files to introduce variations that enhance functionality. The more you customize, the more complete the experience will be.

Implementing author bios on author archive pages or category descriptions on specific category pages provides the user with a better experience and more information. Doing these right means creating custom-built template files for them.
